Meet your wedding photographer

Born in Seattle…

to a jazz musician and a painter, I have always had art in my life. Eventually our family moved to Las Vegas where I began cutting my teeth on photography. Putting in the work on a 35mm pentax k1000 and eventually working my way up to a professional digital system shooting as a hobbyist and occasional freelancer. That is until 2019 when a fellow photographer invited me to shoot with them at a famous wedding chapel and the rest is history. Working in high volume weddings was what made me the photographer I am today, able to shoot in high stress, time crunched environments. Fast forward to 2022, I begin working freelance for another wedding chapel where I meet my photo mentor, a veteran of the industry of over 20 years. That’s where I started taking on bigger projects, traveling for work and perfecting my craft. 2 years of “apprenticing” under my mentor and it was time to start my own business. In 2024 I started Weddings by Chapel Cowboy as a way to differentiate it from my other commercial work and ever since then I’ve been astonished with the growth. I’ve had the chance to shoot with celebrities and travel all across The United States for weddings and elopements alike.

Nerdy, but cool!

I’m inspired by the things I love. Those things just so happen to be anime, jazz, science fiction, and of course cowboys. You put all of these influences together and you get an amalgamation of visual styles that culminates as a romantic world view and an eagerness to make those images real.
